Termite Management
Subterranean termites cause more damage to Australian homes each year than fire, storms and floods combined — and most home insurance policies don’t cover it. Penrith, the Hawkesbury and the Blue Mountains foothills all sit in a high-pressure termite zone thanks to clay-loam soils, mature gum trees and warm humid summers.
The right control program depends on whether termites are already active in your home or you’re protecting a healthy structure. Below are the two systems we use, why they work, and when each is the right call.
Bait stations are installed in the soil around your home at 3–4 metre spacings. Foraging termites feed on the bait and carry it back to the colony, eliminating the queen and the entire nest.
Systems we install:
A continuous treated zone of soil is created around the full perimeter of your home — under paths, against slabs and around piers. Termites passing through the zone pick up the non-repellent and transfer it through the colony.
